About the Role
We're looking for an AI Model Validator / Auditor to assess, validate, and certify AI systems before deployment, particularly in high-risk and regulated environments.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring that AI models are robust, explainable, and compliant, supporting organisations in deploying AI responsibly and in line with evolving European regulations.
This role is ideal for professionals who combine technical AI understanding with validation, testing, and governance expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate machine learning models across the full lifecycle (pre-deployment and post-deployment)
- Assess model performance, robustness, and reliability under different scenarios
- Evaluate explainability, transparency, and fairness of AI systems
- Conduct testing for edge cases, bias, and failure modes
- Review datasets, training processes, and model assumptions
- Support compliance with EU AI Act, GDPR, and internal governance frameworks
- Document validation processes and provide audit-ready reports
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years experience in AI/ML engineering, model validation, or data science
- Strong understanding of machine learning models and evaluation techniques
- Experience with testing, validation, and quality assurance of AI systems
- Familiarity with model explainability tools (SHAP, LIME, etc.)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector)
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and risk classification
- Familiarity with bias detection and fairness evaluation techniques
- Experience supporting audits or compliance processes
