We are currently looking for a freelance Italian language expert to create and transcreate marketing content for Yazio---from CRM push notifications and emails to App Store promotions and video scripts. The source language is English. We offer a steady workload and the possibility of a long-term collaboration. You will be part of a supportive, close-knit team of dedicated freelance linguists all across the globe. If you have a passion for creative copy, a strong feel for what resonates with Italian audiences and are comfortable switching between transcreation and structured MTPE work, we would love to hear from you.

YOUR MISSION
- Create original and creative marketing copy in Italian for Yazio's key performance channels: CRM push notifications and CRM emails
- Transcreate marketing content---including push notifications, CRM emails, App Store promotions and video scripts---from English into Italian, ensuring the message lands with the same emotional impact and cultural relevance as the original
- Adapt global campaigns and cultural moments for the Italian audience, going beyond literal translation to craft copy that feels native and on-brand
- Maintain Yazio's voice across all marketing touchpoints in Italian, balancing the brand's motivational tone with local market expectations
- Step in as MTPE reviewer when needed---post-editing AI-generated translations and performing LQA in Phrase TMS, flagging and correcting errors by category and severity
- Collaborate with the localization team to flag cultural or linguistic issues early and contribute to the quality of Italian content across the app and marketing channels
YOUR PROFILE
- Native Italian speaker with full professional proficiency in English
- Degree in translation, linguistics, copywriting or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing transcreation, creative copywriting or localization for digital products or consumer apps
- Proven ability to adapt performance marketing formats---push notifications, emails, paid ads and video scripts---where tone, brevity and cultural fit matter as much as accuracy
- Strong understanding of social media content and evolving linguistic trends, including Gen Z language and cultural references
- Comfortable switching between creative transcreation and structured MTPE+LQA work depending on project needs
- Solid understanding of LQA processes: able to categorize errors by type and severity and apply a structured review within a CAT tool
- Familiarity with Phrase TMS or equivalent localization tools
- Experience with health, wellness or lifestyle content is a plus
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate asynchronously with a remote international team
