Your Profile as Pricing Specialist

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally in freight forwarding and logistics or as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk.
• Several years of experience in air freight, preferably in pricing or purchasing.
• Sound understanding of operational processes in air freight.
• Excellent negotiation skills and sound economic judgment.
• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills, team player with organizational talent, reliability, and initiative.

Your Responsibilities as Pricing Specialist

• Negotiate purchasing rates with airlines, carriers, and service providers for pre- and post-carriage.
• Process global and local tenders as well as network inquiries.
• Prepare and calculate quotes for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Close collaboration with Sales, Business Development, and Operations departments.
• Analyze and optimize existing processes and structures to increase efficiency.
• Support the implementation of new and existing business, as well as profit/loss controls.
