The Job

The KRZN provides SAP software for financial accounting and payment processing for its member municipalities and external clients (e.g., district and city administrations). Various SAP modules support administrative staff in their tasks.

You will work as an Application Consultant (m/f/d) in the "Konto" department at our Kamp-Lintfort location, with the option for additional remote work (home office).

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting municipal administrations in financial accounting, payment processing, and dunning/enforcement matters.
• Contributing to the optimization of the SAP KommunalMaster-Finanzen software from Komm.ONE.
• Assisting users and clients in the relevant subject area, including customizing, problem analysis, solution finding, and documentation, in collaboration with software vendors.
• Planning and executing software updates, as well as testing and documenting new features.
• Analyzing business processes in municipal finance departments for implementation projects and their realization in SAP.

Your Profile

• University degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Public Administration, e-Government, or a related field, OR a completed vocational training as an IT specialist in application development, or comparable skills and experience.
• Basic knowledge of financial accounting, payment processing, or dunning/enforcement systems.
• SAP knowledge in financial modules, ideally in the PSCD module.
• Ideally, basic knowledge of phinAVV (municipal enforcement processing) or VOIS|GEKA (fee accounting) applications.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, ideally with the "Neues Kommunales Finanzmanagement (NKF)".
• Solution-oriented, analytical, and independent working style.
• Reliable team player with initiative, self-reliance, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong German language skills (minimum C1 certificate level).
