Job Description: What we're looking for

We are hiring a founding engineer with prior entrepreneurial experience. You should have a proven track record of building and shipping your own product as a founder, co-founder, or technical lead in an early-stage venture. This includes experience with architectural decisions, production debugging, shipping under pressure, and handling diverse responsibilities.

Profile / Requirements: What matters to us

• Strong Systems Programming Skills: Proficiency in Rust, Go, or C++, with regular use in current or recent work.
• Production Experience: Demonstrated experience building and operating systems used by real people.
• Active Builder: Currently shipping work, evidenced by open-source contributions, personal projects, or public repositories.
• End-to-End Ownership: A mindset focused on product outcomes and business impact, beyond just writing code.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: Experience making architectural decisions without a detailed specification and managing the outcomes.

The Role:

You will own systems end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, and production. This is a small, high-intensity team with minimal process, where you will define the approach. The role is 100% remote.
