Your Role:
As an AI Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the strategic and technical expansion of our AI initiatives. You will not only develop individual use cases but also shape the sustainable introduction and scaling of AI solutions in our company -- from the initial idea through implementation to stable operation. You will act as an architect, innovator, and internal consultant simultaneously, working closely with management, IT, development, and specialist departments.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conception, development, and continuous optimization of prompts for productive AI systems
- Building and further developing AI-powered applications (e.g., internal assistants, automations, decision support)
- Analysis of existing business processes and identification of concrete AI application potentials
- Implementation of proof of concepts up to stable productive solutions
- Definition of technical standards, prompt frameworks, and structured documentation
- Advising executives on feasibility, benefits, and limitations of AI
- Training and technical enablement of employees
- Evaluation of new AI models, APIs, and tools regarding cost, security, and benefit aspects

Your Qualifications:
- Well-founded and demonstrable experience in the field of LLMs and generative AI
- Practical experience in developing LLM-based applications, especially with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Confident handling of vector databases and modern search architectures
- Experience in building and operating MLOps / LLMOps structures
- Ability to systematically analyze business processes and develop them further using AI
- A knack for prioritization: considering business impact, feasibility, and risk
- Strong ownership mindset and a high degree of initiative
- Ability to combine technical depth with entrepreneurial thinking and strong communication skills
