AJ Chambers is working with a recently Seed-funded AI start-up building next-generation Generative AI systems designed to transform how enterprises operate. The business have been backed by leading European VCs and angel investors from top AI companies, where they are developing production-grade GenAI solutions.
We're looking for a hands-on Gen AI Engineer to help design, build, and deploy cutting-edge LLM-powered systems. You'll work on everything from prompt engineering and fine-tuning to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation pipelines, and production infrastructure.
This is not a research-only role, you will build and ship, as well as closely with the founding team to shape our core AI architecture during a critical growth phase.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering or ML engineering.
- Experience working with LLMs and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
- Experience building RAG systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with MLOps tooling
- German speaking is hugely advantageous
The business are HQ'd out of Munich, however this is a remote first culture and can be based anywhere across Germany.
