Project Manager (m/w/d) in Hannover

Our client in the Hannover region is a subsidiary of an internationally active company that develops innovative components and system solutions for the automotive industry. With a high degree of engineering competence, lean processes, and global presence, the company is one of the established partners of leading OEMs and suppliers. Development and production are carried out according to the highest quality standards -- characterized by technological excellence, sustainability, and international team spirit.

To strengthen the team in the Hannover region, we are looking for a dedicated personality with a technical background and a passion for working with international customers for the position of Project Manager (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities as Project Manager (m/f/d)

  • Holistic Project Management: Responsibility for customer projects from the inquiry phase to series production, including deadlines, costs, and quality.
  • Coordination of Development and Validation Processes: Creation of test plans and coordination with internal departments.
  • Organization of Collaboration: Close coordination with customers and internal interfaces in sales, technology, and production.
  • Development of Technical Solutions: Development of concepts for specific customer requirements in the field of mechatronic systems, with a focus on electronic and electrical engineering issues.
  • Monitoring Project Progress: Ensuring compliance with standards and processes, and documenting project status.
  • Customer Contact: Responsibility for technical issues and continuous support of ongoing project business.

Your Profile as Project Manager (m/f/d)

  • Qualification: Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Work Experience: Several years of experience in project management in the automotive supply industry or a comparable technical environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Sound knowledge in electronics and electrical engineering, particularly in actuator and control technology, ideally complemented by a basic understanding of plastics technology.
  • Standards: Familiarity with common methods such as APQP, Automotive SPICE, or ASIL.
  • Work Style & Personality: Structured, independent, and team-oriented work style combined with a confident demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Languages: Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken, for international collaboration.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
