This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed --- just deep domain expertise and a commitment to scientific rigor.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex problem statements
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific content for accuracy, depth, and rigor
• Ensure clarity, precision, and scientific integrity across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments --- fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Masters or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
• Deep expertise in one or more of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or analytical tasks
• Exceptionally clear written communicator --- you can translate complex science into precise, readable language
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and reliable when working independently
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
• Background in science writing, academic publishing, or peer review
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation workflows
• Experience designing or assessing problem sets, curricula, or research exercises
