About the Role

We are currently looking for Full Stack Developers (strong backend focus) -- German speakers to join an international project.

You will work in a cloud-native environment, using modern Java technologies, as part of an agile, distributed team based in Germany and Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend-focused full-stack applications.
  • Develop and maintain Java / Spring Boot services in a cloud-native environment.
  • Implement core business logic and scalable backend architectures.
  • Design and develop REST APIs and support asynchronous communication.
  • Work with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Ensure security, performance, and data protection standards.
  • Participate in architectural and technical design decisions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot, test, debug, and optimize existing applications.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and code quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong backend focus.
  • Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience working in cloud-native or distributed systems.
  • German language required.
  • Good level of English (minimum B2).
  • Location: 100% remote from Spain or Portugal.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
