Our client is a leading player in digital healthcare (Health-Tech). With innovative SaaS solutions, the company supports medical facilities in digitizing processes and improving patient care. Become part of a highly professional team and actively shape the future of the e-health platform as a Backend Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

  • Backend Development: You will conceptualize, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for a medical SaaS platform based on Java 21 and Kotlin. You will use frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Batch to ensure high performance and scalability.

  • API Design: You will design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration of frontend applications and external services, adhering to the highest security standards.

  • Data Management: With your expertise in PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, you will design efficient data models and optimize performance for high data throughput.

  • Cloud & DevOps: You will integrate cloud services (AWS S3, Elasticsearch) and support the CI/CD process using Docker and Helm, in close coordination with the DevOps team.

  • Collaboration: As a technical expert, you will work closely with product management, QA, and cross-functional teams to precisely implement requirements.

Your Qualifications:

  • Solid Education: A completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

  • Backend Expertise: Relevant experience in software development with Java and Kotlin, especially with the Spring ecosystem (Boot/Batch).

  • Security Focus: Experience in designing secure REST interfaces, ideally considering the special requirements in healthcare.

  • Database Know-how: In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL as well as performance tuning and optimization.

  • Communication Skills: Fluent German and English skills (min. C1) for collaboration in international teams
