Your Role

We are seeking new colleagues at our nationwide locations for the role of Principal SAP Strategy Consultant -- Energy & Utilities (m/f/d) to support the acquisition and project business of the Atos SAP Practice. Within the SAP Transformation Engagements team, you will undertake the following responsibilities for complex proposal projects and/or project activities:

Your Responsibilities

• Developing content for proposals for national and international tenders as the responsible SAP Lead for an overall solution, focusing on the SAP market for energy suppliers and municipal utilities.
• Ensuring the solution meets client requirements and developing innovative roadmap scenarios.
  • Developing the "Win-Strategy" in collaboration with colleagues from the SAP Practice, Account, and Sales teams.
  • Translating the analysis of customer-specific requirements into a solution design ("Solution-Big-Picture"), considering industry-specific SAP components such as:
    • SAP IS-U (Industry Solution Utilities), including migration to a new S/4HANA architecture and interfaces to adjacent systems.
    • Management of billing and consumption data.
    • SAP Fiori.
• Guiding functional and technical SAP architects and experts in creating proposals, presentations, and workshops.
• Developing a customer-appropriate project plan based on SAP Activate.
• Coordinating proposal costing and developing/validating effort estimations.
• Coaching and technically leading the Atos team in strategy and implementation projects for our E&U clients and our experts within the team, applying consulting methodologies. Building and advancing the Atos Eviden SAP Consulting portfolio within your area of responsibility, and developing methodologies, tools, and consulting models.
• Conducting presentations and workshops.
• Collaborating across disciplines with colleagues and partners from other units (e.g., SAP Cloud/Hosting, non-SAP development and integration, Enterprise Architecture, Application Management and Operations, etc.).
• Designing and developing E&U industry-specific digital business models for our clients, deriving value chains, processes, and technology strategies, along with associated transformation approaches based on current SAP technologies.
• Analyzing business-specific processes, identifying optimization opportunities, and advising on the redesign of process flows.
• Quantifying business value and calculating business cases for transformation, as well as preparing decision papers and assessments for our clients' top management.
• Independently leading interdisciplinary teams and coordinating relevant interfaces with the client and within Atos.

Your Profile

• A completed university degree with a focus on Business Administration, Engineering, Business Informatics, or Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification with many years of professional experience in the described field.
• Extensive experience and proven success with clients in SAP pre-sales and project business, e.g., as an SAP Senior or Principal Consultant, SAP Project Manager, SAP Pre-Sales Consultant, and/or SAP Bid Manager, preferably within a management consultancy or a system house.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the current SAP portfolio, S/4HANA implementation and rollout methodology (e.g., SAP Activate), conversions, migrations, and other SAP IT trends (e.g., cloudification), combined with industry knowledge in E&U (e.g., energy suppliers and municipal utilities). This includes knowledge of SAP IS-U, management of billing and consumption data, regulatory requirements in the energy supply/critical infrastructure sector, and familiarity with energy markets (pricing, grid operation, etc.) and utility companies.
• Experience in presenting proposals to decision-makers at the client level.
• Experience in international and/or distributed project work (e.g., experience collaborating with near- and offshore delivery units).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with key roles in the proposal team and internal/external stakeholders, such as clients and partners. This includes a robust network within the industry to identify and reach potential clients and partners.
• Excellent SAP pre-sales and bid management knowledge and experience.
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking, analytical skills, organizational talent, quality orientation, motivation, and enthusiasm.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
