Trainee (m/w/d) IT Service Management

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into IT Service Management, particularly in Service Based Invoicing & Control.
• Gain comprehensive insights into all core IT Service Management areas, including Service Management, ITIL V4 Process Ownership, Lean Management, and working with tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
• Actively participate in building IT Service Management at Carglass® in Germany and significantly shape change management in the daily work environment.
• Proactively question the status quo, contribute new ideas, and drive changes for modern, future-oriented IT Service Management.
• Proactively support Vendor and Contract Management and gradually grow into the role of a Tool Owner.
• Independently take on tasks in budget planning, invoice management, orders (iProc), request management, and controlling.
• Contribute to the definition, steering, and further development of services and participate in service-based billing.
• Apply agile principles for efficient project management and implementation.
• Analyze KPIs, create reports, and contribute to optimizing the user experience.

Requirements

Must have:

• A successfully completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or Natural Sciences, or a comparable degree – ideally with an IT focus.
• Initial practical experience in an IT environment (e.g., internships, working student positions, or personal projects) and first contact with systems like Service Now, Jira, or other ticketing systems are desirable.
• An ITIL V4 certification or the motivation to get certified is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, a keen interest in process optimization, and creativity in finding solutions.
• Enjoyment in mastering complex challenges, combined with structured and self-reliant work.
• Quick comprehension, a strong hands-on mentality, and excellent communication skills – you can confidently interact with various stakeholders at eye level.
• Excellent German language skills at CEFR C1 level or higher, with the ability to demonstrate language proficiency during the selection process.
