Company Description Black Sisters Dining Germany is a community collective dedicated to BlackPOC females living in Germany, with a vibrant network of around 450 members aged 20-35. The organization focuses on fostering connections and empowerment through engaging online and offline gatherings like brunches, dinners, and workshops.

Role Description This is a volunteer, hybrid role based in Germany, with opportunities for remote work. As a Community Manager, you will facilitate community engagement by overseeing the organization and promotion of both online and offline events. Your responsibilities include managing social media accounts, maintaining connections with members, moderating group interactions, and developing strategies to foster inclusiveness and growth. You will collaborate with team members to oversee administrative duties, and support various community-driven initiatives and subgroups. This role requires regular communication and the ability to engage with members to create meaningful experiences and connections.

  • Proficiency in organizational and administrative tasks
  • Commitment to fostering inclusivity and representation
  • Understanding of challenges and cultural nuances specific to BlackPOC females living in Germany
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setup
  • Familiarity with event planning and coordination
  • Experience with group facilitation or moderating community-based projects is a plus
