Your Contribution to the Success Story
Customer Management & Support
- Acquisition of new customers as well as support and further development of key account customers (focus: 1-stage retail)
- Preparation and execution of customer appointments, annual negotiations, trade fairs & events (in-person & virtual)
- Conducting regular store checks for market and competitor observation
Sales Management & Negotiations
- Taking over price and assortment negotiations to secure and increase sales & profit targets
- Management of all promotional funding & investment decisions
Planning & Analysis
- Creation of sales & budget planning for your area of responsibility
- Creation & updating of volume forecasts
- Creation of regular reports & analyses on sales development & market performance
- Analysis of customer & market data to derive measures for assortment, price, or distribution decisions
Strategic Development
- Strategy & acquisition of new sales channels
- Conceptualization & coordination of POS activation measures in close cooperation with relevant interfaces (product management, brand, supply chain)
- Participation in cross-departmental projects and close coordination with the supply chain, finance, and marketing departments
What You Bring Along
- Completed studies in business administration, marketing, sales, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in key account management, ideally in the FMCG & retail environment
- Sound knowledge in negotiation, budget, and sales planning
- Analytical strength and experience in handling market data tools (e.g., Nielsen, GfK, Circana)
- High customer orientation, strong communication skills, and a confident demeanor
- Willingness to travel for customer appointments, trade fairs & store checks
