Senior Data & Analytical Engineer

Your profile

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable streaming data pipelines and infrastructure using Python and SQL.
• Work closely with our sustainability domain experts to ensure business logic is accurately reflected across data flows.
• Build and optimize pipelines using Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Write robust SQL to extract, transform, validate, and reconcile data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Partner with data analysts and fellow engineers to ensure data is well-structured, discoverable, and fit for analytics and product use cases.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
• Drive improvements in data quality, testing, monitoring, and observability across the platform.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, transformations, lineage, and business rules.

We would like to hear from you if you have...

• 5 - 10 years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Data or Analytical Engineer
• Strong craftsmanship in Python and SQL
• Experience owning/maintaining/improving analytical data modeling practices using tools like dbt
• Experience owning/maintaining/improving ETL processes
• Very good database knowledge (database design and programming), e.g. PostgreSQL

What will make you stand out

• Familiarity with Microservice paradigms and related technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker and REST API's
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka
• 1-2 years of hands-on production grade Snowflake experience including architecture design, query and cost monitoring and optimization
• Experience with development and deployment of machine learning and AI models
