Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Strategic Account Executive -- Institutional DeFi - this is a fully remote role and candidates can be based anywhere.
We are looking for an Account Executive as the critical bridge between Traditional Finance (TradFi) and Decentralized Finance (DeFi). As our Strategic Account Executive for Institutional DeFi, you will be the primary architect for bringing institutional capital---asset managers, family offices, hedge funds, and tier-one banks---into the decentralized ecosystem.
You understand the strict compliance and risk frameworks of legacy finance, but you possess the vision and technical fluency to show institutional players why DeFi is the future of global market infrastructure.
About Sync Insights
Sync Insights is a proactive, AI-driven analytics platform built for institutional DeFi. We empower non-technical users in institutional finance to monitor on-chain data, track fees, optimize rewards, and detect operational anomalies in real time. Using deterministic AI and natural-language querying, we translate complex Canton Network data into actionable intelligence, enabling institutions to safely and compliantly scale their decentralized activities.
Key Responsibilities

Drive Enterprise Sales: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for our platform, targeting tier-one banks, asset managers, and hedge funds participating in or entering the Canton Network.

Evangelize Institutional DeFi: Act as a subject matter expert, demonstrating how our natural-language querying, custom dashboards, and automated alerts can de-risk DeFi participation and optimize operational activity (e.g., tracking transfers, validator rewards, and minting efficiency).

Bridge TradFi and DeFi: Translate complex blockchain concepts and AI-driven data insights into clear ROI and risk-management value propositions that resonate with traditional finance compliance, risk, and operations teams.

Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders, guiding them through the transition into decentralized market infrastructures using us as their foundational intelligence tool.

Market Feedback Loop: Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to relay institutional feedback, helping shape the future of our AI-powered dashboards, alert systems, and data exploration tools.
Qualifications

Experience: Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, specifically selling SaaS, financial technology (FinTech), or data analytics solutions to institutional finance clients.

Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the compliance, security, and risk frameworks governing legacy finance (TradFi), paired with a strong technical fluency in blockchain architecture and Decentralized Finance (DeFi).

Technical Fluency: Exceptional ability to communicate highly technical concepts (e.g., deterministic AI, node performance, smart contracts, on-chain financing) to non-technical executives and decision-makers.

Network Knowledge: Familiarity with the Canton Network, privacy-enabled blockchains, or enterprise Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions is a major plus.

Execution: A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in an emerging and rapidly evolving market.
