Junior Group Accountant (m/w/d)
Location: Frankfurt am Main | Hybrid | Full-time
We are looking for a Junior Group Accountant (m/w/d) for a fast-growing, entrepreneurially managed industrial holding company based in Frankfurt.
This role is explicitly aimed at career starters, either directly after graduation or with 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, with a clear focus on IFRS and group accounting.
Your Responsibilities
- Participation in Group Accounting with a focus on IFRS
- Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements at the group level
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts and support with provisions and accruals
- Support with intercompany reconciliations and internal group postings
- Participation in the further development of reporting and consolidation processes
- Support in Group Reporting and financial analyses
- Creation of ad-hoc analyses and presentations for management and investors
- Collaboration with auditors and internal departments and subsidiaries
What You Bring
- Completed business administration degree (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Controlling)
- Very good IFRS knowledge – from studies, internships, or initial professional experience
- Initial practical experience in Accounting, Audit, Advisory, or Finance (0-3 years)
- HGB knowledge is an advantage, but not a requirement
- DATEV knowledge is desirable
- Experience with reporting or consolidation tools (e.g., Lucanet) is nice to have
- Very good German and English skills
- Structured, reliable, and analytical way of working
- Willingness to learn, initiative, and interest in group and subsidiary structures
