Job Description

DATAGROUP Polska Sp. z o.o. is looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to support our ongoing technology refresh and migration initiatives. This is a mid-level position offering remote flexibility and the opportunity to work on forward-looking IT projects that involve modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud and open-source platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to support business decision-making.

  • Transform raw data into meaningful insights through Power Query, DAX, and SQL.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports by implementing robust validation and testing procedures.

  • Optimize performance of Power BI solutions and troubleshoot issues related to data connectivity and report rendering.

  • Contribute to the conceptual design of reporting solutions and data models.

  • Work independently to manage reporting tasks and deliverables within project timelines.

  • Maintain and enhance existing Power BI solutions based on evolving business needs.

  • Support integration of data from PostgreSQL, Python-based ETL pipelines, and other sources.

  • Document reporting processes, data flows, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.

  • Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Required Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in data visualization and analytics, who can effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Good knowledge and several years of practical experience with Microsoft Power BI

  • Solid skills in Power Query and SQL

  • GUI development experience is desirable

  • Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently

  • Experience in conceptual work

  • Excellent understanding of data

  • Independent and structured working style

  • Experience with Postgres and Python is an advantage

  • Very good command of English, both spoken and written
