About the Role
Forget the classic SDR role! At desk.ly, we're looking for someone who understands markets, comprehends companies, and builds a substantial lead pipeline from that knowledge.
You'll work as a Strategic Outbound Manager*in (w/m/d), focusing on strategy: identifying intent and market signals, conducting in-depth account research, and developing highly personalized outreach – no call lists, no mass outreach. Your focus is clearly on quality over volume, ensuring our Account Executives spend their time on the right conversations.

Your Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize strategic target accounts in the DACH region.
- Research companies, markets, and relevant decision-maker level stakeholders, creating structured stakeholder maps.
- Recognize and utilize intent signals (e.g., relocations, expansions, M&A, modernization projects) for targeted outreach.
- Develop and manage personalized outbound strategies (LinkedIn, email, other channels).
- Qualify and hand over high-quality leads to our Account Executives.
- Take responsibility for data quality, lead pipeline, and pre-qualification in HubSpot.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Growth to continuously refine messaging, ICP, and GTM approach.
- Continuously test, analyze, and optimize outreach methods and processes.
- Build a visible expert role on LinkedIn around Hybrid Work & Modern Office.
What You Should Bring
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in German (C1/C2) and English (at least C1).
- Permanent residency in Germany.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B environment (e.g., Sales, Business Development, or Marketing Development).
- Experience with HubSpot and using AI tools.
- Enjoy deeply understanding strategic target accounts rather than processing leads according to a standard formula.
- Strong affinity for social selling and a desire to build a visible personal brand.
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly, precisely, and appropriately for the audience – both written and spoken.
- Independent work style, taking ownership of our lead pipeline and actively contributing to its quality.
- Understanding of different stakeholder perspectives and the ability to incorporate their interests into your outreach.
- Comfort in a dynamic environment where things move quickly and you can help shape processes.
- A true growth mindset, willingness to test new approaches, and contribute your own ideas.
- Analytical and structured approach, making data-driven decisions.
