About the Position
As an Engineer Backend Open Telekom Cloud - Container, you play a crucial role in designing and further developing our highly available and scalable container infrastructure within the Open Telekom Cloud. You will be significantly involved in the conception, implementation, and optimization of solutions using state-of-the-art technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Your expertise in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) is essential for establishing automated deployment pipelines and ensuring efficient software delivery. You will work with microservices architectures and REST APIs to develop and maintain high-performance and robust backend systems. A deep understanding of OpenStack, along with a strong focus on infrastructure automation and network services, is key to managing and further developing our cloud platform. We expect proactive participation in agile development teams to continuously create added value and drive innovative solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- In-depth experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Proficient in using Docker for containerization and application deployment
- Practical experience with OpenStack for cloud infrastructures
- Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
- Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Experience in developing and using REST APIs
- Knowledge and practical experience in infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with various network services
- Proven experience in agile development environments
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
- Knowledge in Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability
- Experience with Helm for package management in Kubernetes
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
