👉 Become part of our team in Hamburg as Business Developer PtX (m/f/d) and work with us on our mission: To sustainably generate renewable energies. So that the Earth remains habitable. The position is limited to two years as part of a parental leave replacement.

Job Description

• You will analyze and monitor international market activities, industry news, and competitive developments, deriving actionable insights for the team.
• You will prepare market information from various sources in a structured manner and create regular updates on market and business developments.
• You will provide support in identifying potential offtakers and relevant third-party partners along the value chain.
• You will assist in the preparation of tenders and customer offers, take responsibility in the bidding process, and work closely with internal and external partners.
• Together with experienced colleagues, you will build and expand customer relationships, prepare for customer appointments, co-conduct them, and follow up afterwards.
• You will participate in conferences, association, and industry events, and begin to build your own network in the dynamically growing hydrogen ecosystem.

Qualifications

• You hold a completed degree in (Business) Engineering, Economics, or a comparable qualification, or possess relevant technical expertise.
• You have 2-4 years of professional experience in business development, sales, project management, or marketing -- ideally in the energy, mobility, logistics, or industrial sectors.
• You have experience with tender processes, preparing RFQs, and evaluating market offers; initial exposure to commercial negotiations is an advantage.
• You have participated in the development of new products or markets and are comfortable operating in dynamic market environments.
• You possess a sound understanding or strong interest in renewable energies, hydrogen technologies, and PtX derivatives (e.g., ammonia, methanol, SAF).
• You communicate fluently in English and have good German language skills, both written and spoken.
