Operations Manager (Remote)

Reports to: Founder

About Ever Lasting

Ever Lasting is a premium home décor and bedding brand with a young, design-forward audience, focusing on quiet luxury. Our team operates globally across the U.S., Europe, the Philippines, and China. We foster a balance of creativity and structure through clear communication, thoughtful systems, and grounded leadership. As we scale, the complexity of our e-commerce, creative, and marketing operations has increased. We are seeking an Operations Manager to bring clarity, rhythm, and follow-through to our daily operations, ensuring ideas, campaigns, and priorities are executed efficiently.

The Role

This is a foundational role responsible for the operational backbone of Ever Lasting. You will partner closely with the Founder and team leads to ensure clear priorities, realistic timelines, and consistent progress across teams. Your focus will be on designing and maintaining the systems that enable teams to execute effectively, rather than setting creative direction or marketing strategy. This role combines strategy, systems building, and execution anchoring to make the company feel steadier, clearer, and more reliable as it grows. While you won't have all the answers initially, you are expected to build clarity through iteration, ask pertinent questions, and progressively own the execution flow.

This Role Is Not:

  • A creative director, marketer, or merchandiser
  • Responsible for supply chain negotiations or vendor sourcing

Your impact will stem from enabling others to execute well.

What You'll Do

Company Operations and Execution

  • Translate leadership priorities into clear plans, timelines, and ownership.
  • Maintain weekly execution rhythms across all departments.
  • Track cross-team initiatives and dependencies.
  • Flag risks, blockers, or misalignment early.
  • Ensure consistent follow-through without constant oversight.

Ecommerce Execution Support (Operational Focus)

  • Coordinate product launches, updates, and operational readiness across systems.
  • Track timelines for product listings, content availability, and go-live dates.
  • Support alignment between marketing, creative, e-commerce, fulfillment, and logistics partners.
  • Coordinate with owners to confirm inventory, packaging, and fulfillment readiness for launches and campaigns.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation for e-commerce, fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Track promotional setup to ensure correct configuration of bundles, discounts, and campaigns.

E-commerce Operations and Customer Support Visibility

  • Ensure Customer Support (CS) teams are informed of upcoming launches, promotions, and changes.
  • Support documentation to enable accurate and consistent CS responses.
  • Track recurring customer issues at an operational level and identify patterns.
  • Support system-level fixes rather than ad-hoc case handling.

Creative and Marketing Team Operations

  • Manage timelines, approvals, and cross-team handoffs.
  • Support campaign calendars and launch schedules.
  • Track creative and marketing deliverables without directing output.
  • Ensure smooth asset flow from concept to execution.
  • Reduce last-minute pressure through improved planning and visibility.

Campaign Operations and Launch Support

  • Map realistic campaign timelines.
  • Track dependencies across creative, marketing, e-commerce, and operations.
  • Confirm readiness across teams before launch.
  • Surface risks early and help recalibrate plans.
  • Capture post-campaign learnings and document improvements.

Systems, SOPs, and Workflow Design

  • Create and maintain SOPs for recurring workflows and launches.
  • Design simple, clear trackers that teams will use.
  • Organize internal documentation for easy navigation.
  • Improve systems to reduce repeated confusion and errors.
  • Maintain adoption and clarity as priorities evolve.

Intern Program Operations Support

  • Ensure interns clearly understand expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with leads on task flow and accountability.
  • Track intern progress, engagement, and follow-through.
  • Surface early operational signals when interns struggle or disengage.
  • Escalate people-related concerns to leadership or HR.

Communication and Visibility

  • Translate meetings into clear action items and next steps.
  • Maintain centralized tracking for leadership visibility.
  • Ensure updates are clear, timely, and actionable.
  • Reduce noise while increasing signal across teams.

Founder Support

  • Absorb coordination, tracking, and follow-up tasks.
  • Protect leadership focus by maintaining steady execution.
  • Bring clarity and structure to daily decision-making.
  • Proactively surface patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Who You Are

  • You thrive on building structure in evolving environments.
  • You are grounded, reliable, and maintain calmness under pressure.
  • You possess a systems-thinking and pattern-recognition mindset.
  • You can manage multiple moving parts without losing clarity.
  • You communicate clearly and consistently in writing.
  • You are comfortable working across diverse teams and time zones.
  • You value accountability balanced with flexibility.
  • You bring judgment and ideas, not just task completion.

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in operations, program management, or project management.
  • Experience supporting e-commerce, creative, or marketing teams operationally.
  • Experience working with remote or global teams.
  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
  • High organizational skills and consistent follow-through.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, Asana, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and automation for documentation, reporting, planning, or workflow automation.
  • Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted systems to reduce manual work or operational friction.
  • Prior experience working closely with founders or senior leadership is a strong plus.

What Success Looks Like

  • Campaigns and launches run smoothly without last-minute issues.
  • Teams have clear understanding of priorities, timelines, and ownership.
  • E-commerce initiatives are coordinated and predictable.
  • Creative and marketing teams feel supported and unblocked.
  • Systems reduce confusion, rather than requiring workarounds.
  • The Founder can dedicate more time to vision and decision-making.

Compensation

Competitive local salary, primarily evaluated on ownership, reliability, and execution quality. Compensation follows a structured development framework, increasing with independence, judgment, communication quality, and leadership readiness.

Who We Are at Our Core

  • Clear on expectations
  • Supported by strong systems
  • Trusted to own their work
  • Held accountable with care

We value clarity, consistency, humanity, and learning. If you are passionate about building systems that empower creative work, this role is for you.
