About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst (w/m/d) to join our dynamic team at ADAC Versicherung AG. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and enhancing our insurance products by bridging the gap between business needs, user expectations, and technical capabilities. Your expertise will help analyze end-to-end processes, model domain-specific concepts, and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and IT professionals. You will work closely with various business units and teams to ensure that our insurance offerings remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- A completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, UX/Service Design, or a comparable qualification.
- Between 7 to 10 years of professional experience in business analysis, process design, or architectural roles, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proven experience in transformation projects such as product launches, migrations, and process modernization initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of process modeling, Domain Driven Design, customer experience and UX methodologies, alongside a solid understanding of architectural principles.
- Hands-on experience working within agile frameworks like SAFe and Scrum, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Outstanding analytical skills, structured working style, confident demeanor, and effective moderation capabilities.
- Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Figma.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize business processes, regulatory requirements, and complex relationships within the insurance domain.
- Model value streams, domains, processes, data flows, and interfaces to create clear and actionable documentation.
- Identify, develop, and prioritize epics and features to support product development and continuous improvement.
- Design experience maps, user journeys, and prototypes in collaboration with UX teams to enhance user experience.
- Support the evolution of operational models, processes, and roles to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as planning sessions, reviews, and demos to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Integrate security, data protection, and compliance requirements into the analysis and solution design processes.
- Coach colleagues on business analysis techniques, process modeling, and methodological approaches to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
