Benefits

Responsibilities
- Conducting software tests, usability tests, regression tests, and performance tests using test tools, including logging or documenting test results
- Recording and describing errors and defects and ensuring their resolution through retesting
- Verifying that your test environment(s) are available, meet specifications, and reporting any deviations
- Continuous monitoring of software quality and optimization of the test process
- Reviewing test plans and test cases
- Evaluating and defining test data
- Participating in and supporting test management tasks
The scope of responsibilities also includes:
- Supporting development in identifying errors
- Verifying the user-friendliness of the software. Close collaboration with developers to ensure optimal results
Qualifications
- Knowledge of market-standard norms and standards (ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119, ISTQB, TMap); certification according to ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level is an advantage.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (such as Scrum and Kanban) and experience with ticketing systems (Jira Software / X-Ray) are desirable
- Practical experience in conducting software tests
- Proficient German (written and spoken)

- Willingness for occasional coordination meetings with the team and for travel to Cologne for onboarding
- Enjoyment of working in a highly dedicated, technically qualified, and multicultural team spread across several German locations
