A technology-oriented software company focusing on cloud infrastructures and modern development processes is looking for an experienced individual for the role of Senior Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) at the Braunschweig location or fully remote (hybrid work model) as soon as possible.

The company develops innovative platform solutions for software teams, relying on state-of-the-art cloud technologies, automated deployment processes, and agile methods. In this position, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team and actively shape the next generation of cloud and platform services.

Responsibilities

• Operation, further development, and scaling of a Kubernetes-based cloud development platform
• Development and implementation of future-oriented concepts in the areas of CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps, and cloud infrastructures
• Technical decision-making, architecture discussions, and standardization within the team
• Analysis and resolution of complex technical problems, as well as optimization of processes
• Support of the team and, if necessary, external customers through technical expertise

Profile

• Completed apprenticeship in the IT sector or a degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management)
• Several years of relevant professional experience in cloud engineering roles
• Profound experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) or an on-premise cloud environment
• Confident use of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform or comparable)
• Experience with GitOps concepts is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
• Structured, proactive, and independent way of working
