IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR / DEVOPS ENGINEER (M/F/D)
Responsibilities
You will be the central point of contact for operating our software, working directly within our development team to elevate our infrastructure and internal processes to the next level.
Software Operations
- Conception and implementation of automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (GitLab)
- Containerization of our software components (Docker)
- Setup of the software for our customers
- Automation of setups, deployments, and patches/updates (GitOps)
System Administration
- Administration of our Linux server infrastructure (e.g., Debian, Talos)
- Automation of processes in server and client administration (e.g., Bash, Ansible)
- Setup and maintenance of system components (e.g., Apache, GitLab, Harbor), databases (especially MongoDB), and our container infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scaling of our IT infrastructure (load balancing, Kubernetes)
- Expansion and administration of our logging and monitoring infrastructure
Qualifications
This is how you convince us:
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a corresponding vocational training (e.g., IT specialist for system administration)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in system administration and operation of web applications based on Docker and Kubernetes
- Enthusiasm for agile software development and dynamic teams
- Independent work style and assumption of responsibility
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is advantageous: Git, GitLab, CI/CD, GitOps (e.g., Flux CD / Argo CD), JavaScript / Node.js, R / R Shiny, Python, ModSecurity, OAuth/OIDC, Microsoft 365 and administration of Windows endpoints, IT security (ISO27001, OWASP), and data protection
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
