About the Role

What Challenge Will You Be Taking On?
In this role, you will drive the development of software solutions for ESA's next-generation Ground Operations System and take on team and project leadership responsibilities based on your experience and strengths.
What We Need in Our Team?
We are looking for experts in Software Engineering with background and interest in Ground Operations Systems.
If this position sounds like a perfect fit for you, here's what we're looking for:
- Strong background in software engineering and design
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Solid knowledge of Java technologies and design patterns
- Development experience in Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
- Experience with EGS-CC, PULSE or EGOS-MG
- Knowledge of ESOC mission data systems
- Previous experience working with or for ESOC
