Social Media Management Internship in Hamburg

Goodgame Studios is seeking an intern to join the Empire Family Team, working on popular MMO titles like Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms. This is a full-time internship with the potential to continue as a working student.

Your Tasks

As an Intern in the Empire Family Social Media & Community Marketing Team, you will gain hands-on experience in social media management and game marketing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting daily collaboration with Product, Design, CRM, and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Discord.
  • Developing channel-appropriate copy, creatives, and short-form content.
  • Coordinating with game teams to translate in-game events into engaging social stories.
  • Monitoring community sentiment and ensuring brand-safe communication.
  • Tracking performance metrics and deriving learnings to improve content.

Your Profile

  • Enrolled student at a German university in a relevant field (marketing, communications, media, business, etc.).
  • Strong interest in free-to-play games, live events, and online communities.
  • Confident writing skills with a good sense of tone of voice.
  • Organized, reliable, and proactive.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for visuals.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Basic Canva & HTML5 skills are a plus.
  • Comfortable with basic analytics and reporting (e.g., platform insights, Excel/Google Sheets).
