This role will sit at the centre of that operating model.
Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a Freelance Consultant specialising in Women Apparel Merchandising and Selection. The role involves guiding merchandising strategies, assisting in the selection of women's apparel collections, analyzing market trends, forecasting demand and collaborating with key wholesale suppliers. The consultant will provide insights for improving collection performance based on trading data and work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand identity and market requirements.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Women Apparel Merchandising, Selection, and Product Lifecycle Management
- Strong understanding of market trends, demand forecasting, and consumer preferences
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in using merchandising tools, analytics platforms, or related software
- Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach in a freelance and remote setup
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Experience in the fashion retail industry is an advantage
- Creative problem-solving and attention to detail
