Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Head of the gsm Academy, you will build the academy from scratch, developing it into a central driver of coaching quality and professional excellence at gsm. You will have overall responsibility for:

• Defining what excellent coaching means at gsm.
• Establishing and leading the gsm Academy as a hub for coaching quality and innovation.
• Developing and strengthening coaches who work with complex target groups.
• Defining and ensuring coaching standards, development paths, and quality principles.
• Designing scalable coach development approaches that combine empowerment with results orientation.
• Integrating AI and technology into coach development and practice — ethically, effectively, and in collaboration with Corporate Development and Technology.
• Working closely with management, Corporate Development, and People and Business teams to embed academy standards within the organization.
• Establishing the academy as an internal and external benchmark for coaching excellence.
• Achieving rapid, tangible results that foster engagement and generate enthusiasm within the gsm team.
• Strategically advancing the academy with a view to scaling and external collaborations.

Your Profile

Professional Background

• Proven experience in building frameworks, programs, or organizational units (beyond just delivering training).
• Strong conceptual skills combined with the ability to execute.
• Several years of experience in coaching, psychology, education, or related fields is a clear advantage, especially working with complex or vulnerable target groups.

Mindset & Work Style

• Passion for coaching quality and effectiveness.
• Curiosity about how AI, data, and technology can support human development.
• Proficiency in both German and English (English is mandatory).
• Ability to create structure without over-regulating.
• High intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Entrepreneurial thinking within an organizational context.
