Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer | Germany | Remote | 60000-75000 EUR/yearly
We're working with a fast-growing telemedicine startup focused on improving access to dermatological care through cutting-edge technology. This is an exciting opportunity to own and evolve their internal operating environment and cloud platform, contributing to enhanced reliability, scalability, and user experience.
The Role
- Administer and continuously improve the Microsoft 365 suite including user lifecycle and license management.
- Serve as the functional owner for Atlassian Jira and Confluence, advising teams on workflow design and governance.
- Build and maintain secure, reliable integrations between internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain and evolve AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Design, provision, and operate infrastructure via Terraform, establishing reusable modules and standards.
- Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability practices.
What You'll Need
- Proven hands-on experience operating and improving cloud infrastructure on AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
- Demonstrated expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles (CI/CD, observability, automation, release management).
- Administration experience across Microsoft 365 at a tenant level.
- Practical experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence including workflow design.
- Ability to work autonomously, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable improvements with minimal supervision.
