The Role

• Prepare customs declarations for all customs procedures (free circulation, special procedures like warehousing, transit, active and passive processing, utilization)
• Monitor and ensure timely settlement (monthly/quarterly) of active and passive processing traffic
• Set up, monitor, and manage inventory and accounting for customs warehouses
• Oversee customs authorizations/simplifications and audit service providers
• Submit reports and applications to authorities and classify goods according to EU customs tariffs
• Support and provide expertise during customs audits and optimize internal processes and policies

What You'll Need

• University degree in Customs Law, Commercial Law, Business Administration, or a commercial apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade/logistics with additional customs qualification
• Knowledge of customs clearance via ATLAS, preferably with AEB ASSIST4 customs software
• Ability to adapt to changing legal regulations and a commitment to continuous learning
• Several years of professional experience in business or administration
• Proficiency in MS-Office programs and SAP R/3
• Independent, responsible, and team-oriented work style
• Good English language skills
