IT Specialist

The Role

• Continuously optimize IT infrastructure (server, network, storage, virtualization, and cloud).
• Advise on, analyze, and classify technical IT requirements and incidents.
• Plan, manage, and document IT infrastructure services regarding changes and maintenance.
• Monitor and optimize IT operating costs.
• Lead and plan infrastructure projects, managing internal project staff and external service providers.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Computer Science/Business Informatics or equivalent, with 2-3 years of professional experience, or relevant expertise for career changers.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of network technologies, Apache and Tomcat servers, Oracle & MS SQL DBMS, and MS Azure.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
• Professional pragmatism, strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to lead technical projects, drive teams to achieve goals, and good German and English language skills.
