Role Overview

As a Data Analytics Intern at HireShire, you will support our analytics and business intelligence teams in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to drive insights across our HR-tech ecosystem. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, building dashboards, and generating reports that support decision-making in a fast-growing tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation for accurate analysis
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
• Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
• Work with SQL databases to extract and manipulate structured data
• Contribute to predictive modeling and statistical analysis under mentor guidance
• Research and apply best practices in data visualization and storytelling
• Document workflows, maintain datasets, and ensure data integrity for ongoing projects

Requirements

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, IT, or related fields
• Strong understanding of statistics, data wrangling, and visualization concepts
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL
• Knowledge of Python (libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) or R
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have (Bonus)

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Exposure to machine learning basics (scikit-learn, regression, clustering, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for data storage/analysis
• Participation in data hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or analytics clubs
• Certifications like Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, or similar

Stipend

• European Union : Minimum €13 /hr (in accordance with European Union federal & state minimum wage guidelines for interns), with potential increment based on interview scores and skill assessment
