AI Backend Developer (m/w/d)

An innovative organisation in the customer experience and conversational AI sector is looking for an AI Backend Developer (m/w/d). You will design and implement scalable APIs and microservices that serve as the backbone for modern AI applications. This role focuses on integrating LLM services into production-ready customer solutions within cloud environments.
What you'll be doing
- Develop high-performance backend services in cloud environments for conversational AI projects
- Integrate AI and LLM services using RAG, prompt engineering, and agentic AI methods
- Design and implement event-driven architectures for responsive and decoupled systems
- Maintain high standards for code quality, security, and performance across the lifecycle
- Drive the continuous evolution of cloud and AI architectures using AI-assisted coding workflows
What we're looking for
- Professional experience with TypeScript, Java, or Python and associated frameworks
- Proficiency in working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and API protocols like REST or GraphQL
- Knowledge of serverless microservice topologies and Infrastructure as Code tooling
- Familiarity with AI providers and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or TensorFlow
