About the Role

NorCom Information Technology GmbH & Co. KGaA is seeking a Consultant for MS-SQL Databases.

Requirements

• Location: Germany only
• Language: Fluent German
• Several years of professional experience in enterprise environments and a degree in an IT-related field.
• In-depth database knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server (AlwaysOn, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, etc.).
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL operational processes.
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level).
• Willingness to undergo a security check (SÜ2 Sabotageschutz).

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of database experts.
• Take responsibility for customer projects based on MS SQL Server.
• Advise clients on the planning, conception, configuration, and tuning of their highly available SQL Server platforms.
• Support the team with challenging errors and complex migrations.
• Assist in SQL Server project acquisition and recruiting.
