Tätigkeiten

Your Task

• You will take responsibility for budget planning, ongoing budget controlling, and the analysis of the company's financial development, actively supporting the strategic orientation.
• You will manage liquidity – from planning and monitoring cash flows to ensuring our solvency.
• You will create analyses, reports, and forecasts for management and investors, deriving concrete recommendations for action.
• You will conduct variance analyses and drive the continuous improvement of operational and financial performance.
• Together with Accounting, you will support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• As a Business Partner, you will work closely with departments such as Accounting, HR, Sales, and Product Development and act as a sparring partner for management.
• You will further develop controlling processes and structures and establish efficient management tools.
• You will take on the independent management of cross-departmental projects.

Anforderungen

Your Profile

• You have a completed university degree or, alternatively, further training with a focus on Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field of study.
• You have several years of professional experience in controlling – ideally in a dynamic corporate environment, preferably in the software/tech industry.
• You have sound knowledge of budget planning, forecasts, plan-vs.-actual comparisons, variance analyses, and cost accounting.
• You have very good Excel skills and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) as well as ERP software systems; SQL skills are a plus.
• Your analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking help you derive clear recommendations for action from data.
• You communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders and can prepare and present complex topics understandably.
• A structured, solution-oriented approach and a high standard of quality characterize you.
• With your very good German (min. C2) and English skills (min. C1), you can confidently represent us in an international environment.

If we receive the "green light" here, we will invite you to an intensive remote get-to-know-you session (approx. 2.5 hours) with Thomas and a colleague from Human Resources. Before the meeting, we will send you a task to complete, the results of which you will present during the meeting. Additionally, we will ask technical questions during the meeting to highlight your strengths, knowledge, and development potential for both sides. At the same time, you will have plenty of room to get your questions answered.

In principle, you can expect a final response from us after about a week. However, we are also available for questions via chat or phone at any time.
