The position of Payroll Accountant (m/f/d) is possible in full-time or part-time (min. 25 hours/week spread over 5 days).

Responsibilities

• Independent Support: Your dedicated client base consists of large companies from all over Germany. Communication with clients and authorities is 100% digital and without travel.
• For the Client: You will handle the ongoing payroll accounting for your clients, taking into account all legal regulations using DATEV LODAS/ DATEV Lohn und Gehalt, and advise your clients on payroll tax and social security issues.
• Communication with Authorities: You will manage correspondence with health insurance companies, tax authorities, and other institutions to provide clients with the best possible advice.
• Reporting and Certification: You will take care of certificates and other required documents for employees.
• Audit Support: You will independently support audits by the German pension insurance, tax authorities, and employment agencies.
• Digital Work: Benefit from paperless and completely digital work processes.

Requirements

• Education: Successfully completed vocational training as a tax assistant or in a commercial field.
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of professional experience in payroll accounting and in the field of payroll tax and social security law.
• Software: Knowledge of the digital DATEV software environment, especially Lohn und Gehalt, as well as Unternehmen online and Arbeitnehmer online.
• Your Mindset: Reliability and accuracy, teamwork, initiative, and enjoyment of independent work.
• Digital Affinity: Openness to new IT systems and a passion for digitalization and process optimization.
