Requirements

Your Skills / Experience:

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of cryptographically secured transmission of sensitive information over potentially insecure networks, particularly in the following areas:
    • Hardware and software solutions for VPN clients and VPN gateways, as well as secure mobile applications.
    • Securing end devices and platforms through storage encryption, integrity protection, access control, identification, and authentication.
    • Protection of servers and central services, e.g., in the areas of Mobile Device Management and Crypto Management.
    • Use of certificate-based security solutions, implementation and operation of an X.509 PKI, and application of CV certificates.
  • Application of VS-requirement profiles of the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) and comparable regulatory requirements for IT security products, including threat analysis, definition of security objectives, and implementation of derived security requirements.
  • Experience in requirements elicitation and requirements management.
  • Creation of specifications for system and component functions, definition of interfaces, and description of expected system behavior.
  • Basic knowledge of tools in the software development area (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, TFS, Git).
  • Familiarity with agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, NAF) and model-based system development with UML and SysML.
  • Previous experience in the defense sector is an advantage.
  • Strong quality awareness and a structured, responsible way of working.
  • High willingness to learn and very good communication skills.
  • Hands-on mentality, motivation, and commitment.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel approx. 30%.

Due to our collaboration with clients in critical infrastructure sectors, a security screening according to the Security Screening Act (SÜG) may be required.

Responsibilities

Your Tasks:

Main Tasks:

  • Independently create specifications for product development features and translate user requirements into product requirements.
  • Coordinate and update feature content with development, the UX team, and product managers.
  • Conduct business and system analyses for the use and application of the RIDUX product and the TACTICAL CORE solution.
  • Elicit and refine user requirements with the customer.
  • Develop solution concepts and create system architectures and interface specifications.

Secondary Tasks:

  • Support adjacent areas of Product Development and Product Delivery, including testing, support, and documentation.
  • Assist in creating the software architecture and describing interfaces to other software solutions (own software and customer software).
  • Take responsibility for work packages and sub-projects.
  • Support the creation of proof-of-concepts and in the bidding phase.
