Senior Consultant / Manager - Enterprise Architecture Management

Requirements

• Residency: Only for applicants from Germany

• Language: German – Fluent, English – Conversational

• Completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar) or comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience (min. 7 years for Manager level) in architecture or transformation projects.

• Proven experience with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT) and digital transformation.

• Sound expertise in Business Architecture (Value Streams, Process Analysis), Application/Data Architecture, or other EAM disciplines.

• Strong in rationalization and harmonization projects and confident with cloud and on-premise landscapes.

• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and moderation skills.

• You work independently, are solution-oriented, and interact confidently with people of diverse personalities.

• A plus, but not a must: Experience in leading an EAM team in a line or project organization.

Responsibilities

You will support our clients in the successful implementation of their projects and transformation initiatives:

• EAM Strategy & Processes: You will develop, optimize, and provide hands-on support for the introduction of IT & EAM strategies, principles, EAM committees & processes, as well as roles and development paths for architecture roles – always in close exchange with your client and colleagues, using suitable workshop methods (e.g., Miro).
• Business and IT Architectures: You will analyze the enterprise architecture at all levels – from business aspects (e.g., Value Streams, process models) to technological areas (applications, platforms). Based on your findings, you will derive roadmaps to sustainably develop our clients' architecture landscape.
• Data and Integration Architecture: You will contribute deep understanding of data and integration architectures. You will identify transformation potentials, develop suitable solutions, and support their implementation – for an efficient and future-proof IT landscape.
• Rationalization and Harmonization in the Application Landscape: You will identify and leverage cost savings and efficiency improvement potentials.
• Frameworks & Compliance: You will apply established standards (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT) as needed and customer-specifically, evaluate cloud/on-premise scenarios, and ensure governance requirements are met.
• Projects & Transformation: Together with CIOs, IT managers, and specialist teams, you will shape digitalization processes and manage projects or sub-programs.

You will contribute to our team:

• Develop Consulting Products: Together with your colleagues, you will develop new services and methods related to business and IT architectures.
• (Pre-)Sales Activities: You will support acquiring new clients and projects by presenting customized EAM solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing: You will share your knowledge in our company-wide exchange formats and learn from other experts in the team.

We are organized in competence teams, not departments. Everyone is assigned to a team of 2-5 people.
