Team Lead IT Operations (T1 & T2)
We are searching for a Team Lead IT Operations, to manage a team overseeing data centres, logistics hubs and colleagues.
The support team will use code over clicks as a guiding principle. Our client is currently transitioning to an automated support system as part of a Greenfield cloud sovereignty transformation. You will be a lead consultant in the transition from manual workflows to a more automated, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) driven environment.
Responsibilities

Lead and manage the First and Second Level IT Support teams, acting as the key interface to Senior Management.

Drive an automation-first mindset, ensuring standard workflows and common queries are resolved automatically before they impact productivity.

Collaborate closely with Level 3 AIOps and Platform Engineering teams to integrate AI tools and modern automation into daily operations.

Utilise Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to maintain and stabilise infrastructure and endpoints.

Orchestrate a diverse fleet of Windows, Apple, and Android devices using modern mobile device management (MDM) solutions.

Oversee network stability across LAN, WAN, and Cisco systems, ensuring robust connectivity for all office and logistics sites.

Manage performance through SLA and KPI tracking, using data to continuously improve service quality and team efficiency.
Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role within IT Support or a strong readiness to take the next step into disciplinary management.

A technical degree or equivalent vocational training in IT with a deep understanding of modern infrastructure (servers, networks, and clients).

Advanced proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and Bash to accelerate and automate routine tasks.

Practical experience with MDM solutions and IaC tools such as Terraform.

A background or strong interest in software development, enabling you to navigate and improve complex digital systems.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements between end-users and expert engineering teams.

Fluency in both German and English.
