SAP HCM / SuccessFactors Technical Consultant (m/w/d)

In this role, you will contribute to the design, customization, and enhancement of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors solutions within a focused and highly specialized project environment. You will work on key HR digitalization areas such as e-recruiting, learning solutions, and talent management, ensuring systems are optimized for performance, usability, and integration. Acting as a hands-on technical expert, you will bridge business requirements with robust SAP development and configuration. The role involves working in a predominantly remote setup while collaborating with distributed stakeholders to deliver high-quality HR technology solutions. You will play a key role in shaping end-to-end HR processes across complex system landscapes, combining development expertise with functional HR knowledge. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in technical depth, enjoys autonomy, and wants to contribute to impactful HR transformation projects.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for delivering technical SAP HCM and SuccessFactors solutions across core HR domains, ensuring system stability, integration, and continuous improvement.
- Design, customize, and enhance SAP HCM (ECC) solutions with a focus on Learning Solution, E-Recruiting, and Talent Management.
- Develop and maintain ABAP / ABAP OO programs, enhancements, and system extensions to support HR processes.
- Configure and support SAP WebDynpro applications (ESS/MSS, recruiter tools), workflows, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
- Contribute to SAP Talent Management processes including performance management, talent reviews, and succession-related workflows.
- Support integration of HR master data and organizational data between SAP systems and external platforms.
- Work with SCORM and learning optimization to enhance digital learning capabilities.
- Collaborate on system improvements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
Requirements:
You bring strong hands-on SAP HCM technical expertise, combined with development skills and exposure to HR process implementation in complex environments.
- Strong experience in SAP HCM (ECC), especially in Learning Solution, E-Recruiting, and Talent Management modules.
- Solid ABAP / ABAP OO development skills, including enhancements, extensions, and custom development.
- Experience with WebDynpro for ABAP (ESS/MSS, recruiter scenarios), SAP Workflow, and forms development (SmartForms, Adobe Forms).
- Knowledge of SCORM and learning system optimization.
- Experience with HR integration scenarios (SAP and external systems).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori is an advantage.
- Exposure to SuccessFactors (EC, Recruiting, Learning, Performance & Goals, Succession, Onboarding) and related integrations is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite and Work Zone is considered an advantage.
- Strong hands-on, recent development experience in SAP environments.
- Very good German language skills (B2 ) are mandatory, along with strong communication abilities.
