About the Role

Wunderflats is looking for a City Growth Manager (f/m/d) to own and drive revenue growth in one of our key German cities (Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, or Munich). This is a high-impact, mini-general manager role where you'll develop and execute strategies to turn a performing city into a significant revenue engine. You will be responsible for the city's strategy, priorities, and results, influencing multiple teams and making key decisions. The workplace is Berlin.

Your Mission

  • Analyze city performance and identify growth bottlenecks.
  • Manage and allocate the city budget effectively (supply, demand, initiatives).
  • Adapt strategies to local market conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Booking, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams.
  • Engage directly with landlords and tenants to gain insights.
  • Make critical decisions, including discontinuing underperforming partnerships.
  • Represent the company in your city as needed.

You Own

  • Revenue growth of your city.
  • Booking growth and contribution margin improvement.
  • City strategy and investment priorities.
  • Alignment of internal teams focused on your city.
  • Key decisions on partnerships, supply focus, and local initiatives.

You are the single point of ownership for your city.

Your Profile

  • Native or fluent German and confident English communication skills.
  • Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments (startups, scale-ups, consulting, expansion, or operations).
  • Strong stakeholder management and persuasive communication abilities.
  • Enjoyment in interacting with landlords, partners, and customers.
  • Customer-first, solution-oriented mindset, even in complex situations.
  • Ability to drive progress and resolve friction.
  • Hands-on execution capabilities, managing calls, meetings, data analysis, and implementation within the same day.
  • Excellent prioritization skills.
  • Data literacy and the ability to act on insights.
  • Resilience, pragmatism, and adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-team initiatives without formal authority by simplifying complex problems, creating momentum, and making it easy for others to contribute.
