Global Accounts Manager (f/m/d) - Home Office Based

As a Global Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships with global health systems, providing global business leadership and account management. This includes building and maintaining key relationships, developing opportunities, monitoring deployment projects, and engaging global resources. You will define CXO relationship strategies, engage with local and regional teams, secure executive sponsorships, coordinate business reviews, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will manage all aspects of business within your partnered Large Network Groups (LNGs), including supplier operations, expanding global client relationships, and resolving customer issues. You will collaborate with customer executives and leaders, articulate a clear vision, generate enthusiasm, and impact relevant business groups. Your role involves selling at the most strategic level, implementing broad strategies for customer acceptance and service implementation, and working across functional resources (Executives, Sales, Operations, Business Units, Support, Service, and Professional Services) to support customer interests.

Internally, you will collaborate with Regional and National Sales and General Managers to develop strategies, provide insights, and offer leadership to sales and service teams regarding the health of LNG relationships and financial goals. You will work with the team to create overall business strategies that meet the goals of both the LNG and Beckman Coulter Diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner and develop ongoing relationships and value propositions within the C-suite at the HQ LNG and key stakeholders within dedicated accounts (e.g., Committee Members, Procurement, Medical Directors).
  • Build and own long-term account plans, including Goals, Strategies, Tactics, and Operational Mechanisms, incorporating key value drivers for both customer and Beckman Coulter to drive year-over-year revenue growth and sustained partnerships.
  • Utilize DBS tools to lead sales campaigns with local regional teams, ensuring team members understand the needs of the entire LNG and how their actions contribute to the overall customer partnership.
  • Own RFPs and compliantly close deals with positive margin expansion for the contract's duration.
  • Partner with the service organization to ensure successful installation, go-live, and post-installation maintenance.
  • Provide a high-level overview of all activities within individual accounts to ensure high-quality, consistent customer service.
  • Collaborate with local regional sales to ensure alignment between local teams and the overall LNG strategy. Provide indirect coaching, mentoring, and leadership to sales representatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's Degree preferred, with 7+ years of sales experience in hospital or laboratory consulting.
  • Ability to understand customer business and financial goals and develop strategies positioning Beckman Coulter as the partner of choice.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex global accounts in close collaboration with local sales teams, providing informal leadership, overall account strategy, and ensuring accountability of regional teams for day-to-day tactics.
  • Strong understanding of the global marketplace, excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills, and solid project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
