Job Description:

Your Responsibilities:

• As the central IT contact person in our Global Parts Center (GPC) in Obersontheim, you will be the driving force for process improvements and a catalyst for digital transformation.
• You will establish and maintain important interface relationships – from the technical and operational control center to our central IT departments at our HQ in Winnenden – ensuring smooth operations.
• With your eye for innovation, you will identify and implement the best warehouse management systems (WMS) and proactively shape our system and hardware landscape in the GPC.
• You will be responsible for requirements engineering and lead your own projects as a counterpart to IT.
• Furthermore, you will familiarize yourself with the company-wide IT governance and ensure its compliance.
• In the event of disruptions at the site, you will take an active coordination role, resolve problems sustainably, and keep operations running.
• Last but not least, you will make a valuable contribution to pioneering projects, such as the modernization of the material flow computer and other strategic initiatives.

Your Profile:

• A successfully completed degree (e.g., Computer Science/Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Logistics Management with a focus on Informatics, among others) or a comparable qualification.
• Initial relevant professional experience in the area of warehouse management systems and ideally initial project management experience in both classic and agile methods.
• Prior knowledge of PSI warehouse management systems, the TGW material flow system, and SAP R3 are advantageous, but not essential.
• Fluent German and English skills (C1/C2), as well as strong communication skills, enabling you to interact with various international contacts on an equal footing.
• You are characterized by an analytical, structured, and self-responsible way of working.
• A strong solution orientation, high flexibility, and strong motivation, combined with a deep understanding of processes and willingness to change, complete your profile.
