The Stiftung kihz (Kinderbetreuung im Hochschulraum Zürich) is an established provider of eight daycare centers for children of members of the University of Zurich, ETH Zurich, Empa, and Eawag. We also organize holiday care, arrange care assignments, and develop needs-based, innovative projects. With over 150 employees, we are committed to high-quality, family-supplementing care.

To strengthen our team at the administrative office, we are looking for a dedicated individual as

HR Manager (80%)

per April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Your Responsibilities

• Professional support for daycare center managers in administrative HR matters and HR processes
• Advice on labor law issues
• Budgeting and monitoring of personnel cost development
• Co-responsibility for personnel and payroll administration
• Substitution in payroll processing
• Health management
• Creation of employment contracts and contract changes
• Main responsibility for the time tracking and scheduling software
• Creation of HR key figures and statistics
• Posting and managing job advertisements
• Participation in projects

Your Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship and further training as an HR specialist or personnel assistant
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Very good MS Office, Polypoint (PEP), and Abacus user skills
• Quality-conscious, independent, organized, and efficient way of working
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Networked and solution-oriented thinking, willingness to perform, and resilience
• High social competence, empathy, good communication skills, pronounced service mentality, team spirit
