Your Tasks:

In this role, you will measurably drive the growth of Knuddels. Your main focus will be on exciting, activating, and retaining new members long-term:

Acquisition & Activation: You identify and optimize the levers through which new users find their way to Knuddels and experience their "aha!" moment. You work on onboarding flows, first-session experiences, and the critical first few days to turn new registrations into active community members.

Retention & Engagement: You analyze the user journey on our platform, from the first chat to gaming interactions and dating features. You develop targeted measures to improve DAU, MAU, and especially retention (Day 1, Day 7, Day 28). You understand why users churn and systematically counteract it.

Strategic Input on Monetization: You contribute your knowledge of the user lifecycle and engagement to help shape our monetization strategy (premium subscriptions, in-app purchases). Your goal: Monetization that maximizes long-term user lifetime value, rather than short-term revenues at the expense of user retention.

Data-Driven Experimentation: You formulate growth and retention hypotheses, design A/B tests, and systematically evaluate them. Mixpanel is your daily companion, which you use confidently to understand user behavior, analyze cohorts, and make informed decisions.

Team Leadership with a Growth Mindset: You lead a cross-functional team in terms of content and consistently align it with growth goals. You create the framework in which your team works with a spirit of experimentation, learns quickly, and delivers real business impact.

Your Profile:

You bring several years of experience as a Growth Product Manager and can name specific projects where you have measurably improved user acquisition, activation, or retention, ideally with specific KPI improvements (e.g., "Increased Day-28 retention by X%" or "Increased activation rate in onboarding by Y%").

You think in terms of User Lifecycle and LTV: You understand how acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization interact. You develop strategies that create long-term value and know when monetization strengthens retention and when it harms it.

You are an expert in Analytics: Mixpanel (or comparable platforms like Amplitude) are not a black box to you but your daily tool. You routinely set up funnels, cohort analyses, and segmentations and develop actionable recommendations from them.

You master A/B Testing: You have extensive experience in the design, execution, and statistically sound evaluation of experiments and know when a test is meaningful and when it is not.

You have taken on team responsibility: You have proven experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams and can align and motivate a team towards common growth goals.

You feel at home in the world of B2C apps: Ideally, you have experience in areas such as gaming, dating, or social media. You understand the dynamics of platforms where users want to spend time, not have to, and know how to turn engagement into real growth.

You use AI intelligently: You actively use AI tools (like Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) to make your work more efficient and have ideas on how to integrate AI meaningfully into our growth strategies.
