We are looking for you as an E-Mail Marketing Manager (Segmentation) at Mammutmarsch!

At Mammutmarsch, we are more than the pioneers of extreme hiking in Germany. We are a movement. People train for months for our events, cover 30 or 50 kilometers non-stop -- and push their limits.

E-mail is not a newsletter channel for us.

E-mail is a revenue machine.

We are looking for someone who can systematically master Klaviyo.

Someone who understands which message which segment needs to receive when -- and how often -- to measurably increase revenue per user and total revenue.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Segmentation

  • Build and prioritize clear segments (purchase behavior, lifecycle, engagement, interests, demographics)
  • Develop a structured targeting blueprint
  • Define sequencing, exclusions, and frequency caps

Experimentation & Testing

  • Develop hypotheses → build variants → test → evaluate → iterate
  • Systematic test process across segments, content, frequency & offers
  • Clean documentation & decision logic

Campaign Planning

  • Weekly and monthly planning of all campaigns & tests
  • Control of conflict rules & sending logic
  • Strategic timing aligned with events, drops, and campaigns

Production & Setup

  • Briefing of copy & design
  • Build testable variants
  • Clean setup in Klaviyo (tracking, UTMs, QA, audience logic)

Analysis & Scaling

  • Interpretation of results (RPR, RPU, CVR, AOV, Guardrails)
  • Derivation of concrete follow-up tests
  • Rollout of successful strategies to larger segments
  • Build a structured content & idea database

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in e-mail/CRM marketing with revenue responsibility
  • Strong experimentation & analytics mindset (you think in hypotheses, variants, signals, decisions)
  • Very good understanding of segmentation, lifecycle logic & targeting
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo (segments, campaigns, A/B tests, QA, deliverability)
  • Ability to correctly interpret metrics such as RPR, RPU, CVR, AOV, Incrementality, Unsub-Rates
  • Intuition for content: You recognize which message fits which segment
  • Structure & systems thinking -- you build processes that work scalably
  • Clarity in briefing copy & design
