Position: Computer Science Expert

Type: Contract
Compensation: $75--$83/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on computer science problems.
Produce original problem sets using architecture diagrams, data structure visualizations, and algorithm traces.
Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance task quality and throughput.
Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in Computer Science, or MS in CS with 3 years engineering, research, or teaching experience, or BS in CS with 5 years software engineering, systems, or applied CS practice.
Working fluency in at least two of: algorithms, systems, databases, networks, theory of computation.
Comfortable with architecture diagrams, data structure visualizations, and algorithm traces.
Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
